The Annual Flats Roadside Clean-up

Clean-up day for the Flats covers the stretch of road from the end of 154 (by the Bates water station) to the turnaround. It will be take place April 15 beginning at 10 am. April 29 will be the back-up day in case of bad weather.

Stephanie is pleased to report that the roadside/water is in better shape this year, thanks to several people who have been picking up the trash throughout the year!  Thank you!

Meeting place and other details will follow as the date approaches.

Other Island Clean Up Activity:  HISCFA MDOT Adopt-a-Highway Clean-up  takes place Saturday, April 22, 10:00-12:00. Volunteers should arrive at St. Mark Church by 10:00 to be assigned to teams of two. The clean up is expected to take two hours. As a thank you for your participation, please plan to join HISCFA at Browne's Field afterwards for pizza and beverages.
